Kevin Conry was the Vice President for Development at the Center for Global Development.
He joined CGD in May 2018 from Georgetown University, where he served in a variety of leadership roles, including Vice President for Law Strategic Development, Associate Dean for External Relations and Assistant Dean for the JD Program.
As VP for Law Strategic Development at Georgetown, Kevin was the chief advancement officer for the law campus at the foot of Capitol Hill where he led multiple successful fundraising campaigns and managed a team of development, alumni and communications officers. He helped to establish and manage several international volunteer boards, to fund innovative programs and institutes and was instrumental in helping create the Center for Transnational Legal Studies in London. Conry played a significant role in the planning and fundraising to expand and build out the law campus and also served as a senior advisor for Georgetown's government relations and community engagement efforts. He continues to serve as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown, teaching a seminar on Law & Non Profit Organizations.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Conry earned a BSFS from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service and a JD from Georgetown University.
